I've just finished ...

reading "The Shack". I'm still trying to decide exactly how I feel about it. It was a well written book with some very good ideas, but I think it will take further study of the bible to compare some of the things correlated in the book. I highly recommend it as a very good read and as you get further into the book, it gets harder and harder to put down. I'm really surprised at the people that see what I'm reading and are avid fans. I took it to a doctor's visit and upon seeing it, my doctor asked me what part I was on! It was obvious that he really wanted to take the time to discuss it, which is pretty unusual in the medical realm. He'd sent his copy to his nephew after he finished it and is waiting to hear back from him as to what he got out of it. Religion has so many faces - whose to say that when it's all said and done, the trilogy depicted in "The Shack" is not a close match? Out to feed the guineas, check on the little keets (baby guinea chicks) and give Walter the dog his medicine. Walter is our rescue dog - but that's another entry for another day. Have a great day and I hope you find lots of smiles in your travels.
